Lu's Cooperative Social cellar
For me, this small cellar is a discovery. I went a little reluctantly, thinking ".. with all the extraordinary wines I have around me at home, is it worth going elsewhere?!"...since I was already there, I said to myself "let's try".
And I tried some very good wines of different qualities, until ... His Majesty the Nebbiolo made me fall in love with it at the first taste!

Le Vigne di Piè
​ "Since 1976, the Silva family has cultivated its own vineyards spanning 30 hectares between Vignale Monferrato, Altavilla, and Casorzo. The family founder, chasing a dream, left the rice paddies of the Po Valley to climb the rolling hills of Monferrato... Here he took up the challenge. A man of the plains, he wanted to produce the best wine in Monferrato.
With humility, dedication, and selflessness, he learned, starting from the first hectare of land, purchased in 1976, along with the farmhouse and cellar, which still house the farm today. And his wines tell us he succeeded!

La Capra Regina Factory

The La Capra Regina Farm, a short supply chain for top-quality cheeses, where artisanal production meets modern technology. In an aseptic environment with constant temperature and humidity control, there are five different hot and cold rooms, a room dedicated to raw milk, and pH measurement during the various stages of milk fermentation.
From the raw milk of purebred Roccaverano goats, approximately 200 Robiola della Regina are produced every day in three varieties: the classic, the Queen's Black Velvet (aged for 7 days in fine forest charcoal), and the Queen's Secret Reserve (aged for 20 days). But it's all there for you to discover. ​

Trattoria Pizzeria Al Tramvai
"Modern, spacious and clean place. The pizzas are the classic Neapolitan ones, with a high edge, good dough and good ingredients, but they are overloaded with cheese. As soon as it cools down, it compacts and becomes rubbery. Excellent beer, decent desserts. Friendly and fast service."
As one of the many reviews on TripAdvisor states, according to the locals, it is a good place to eat, where the pizzas and calzones are cooked in a wood oven and compete with the typical dishes served.

If you're looking for a place to dine in Monferrato, this typical pub with an Irish flavour is not bad at all. While the outdoor space is surrounded by the greenery of a very nice courtyard, inside we find the Irish atmosphere. The choice of beers is wide and varied, and the dishes offered are delicious and suitable for all tastes: from salads full of ingredients and well-prepared to good burgers served with a side dish of your choice, bruschetta and a variety of desserts...
Warm, simple and cheerful atmosphere, quality local cuisine, kindness... recommended for those who love pubs, but also excellent as a restaurant!

Restaurant Cuisine Like It Once Was
In a fairly spartan but welcoming place, friendly staff and many local customers on their lunch break from nearby companies (which is always a good sign of reliability). Delicious pastas and ravioli, gnocchi like my grandmother made them... it unlocked so many memories for me of that healthy cuisine, made of simple dishes, cooked with expert skill for family and friends. Traditional appetizers, excellent cured meats and cheeses, taken fresh from the adjacent farms, and meats and wines from the area, with a decent choice.
